In Memory of Hector Wong

It was sad to learn that Mr. Hector Wong, one of our alumni, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack in April 2021.

Mr. Hector Wong was studying at SMU in the 1970s. Before that, he was studying at Bridgewater High School in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. After graduation from SMU, he worked for Pfizer in 1981 as a Product Manager. He switched to Janssen – Johnson and Johnson in Toronto in the late 1980s and stayed there until 1991 when he expatriated to Hong Kong. He was in the pharmaceutical industry for a very large part of his career. Hector retired in 2018 and continued to stay in Hong Kong.

I believe many of you who are in the Hong Kong Chapter WhatsApp chat group know that Hector had been very active in the chat group. His untimely death is a great loss for the Hong Kong Chapter.

Hector, Rest In Peace! You will always be remembered.
