The Farewell Gathering in honour of Dr. Colin Dodds on Retirement as the President of St. Mary’s University was successfully held at Dot Cod Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar in Central, Hong Kong on Friday, 22nd May, 2015. Dr. Dodds came with his wife Carol. We were grateful that a delegation representing the Halifax Port Authority also joined us for the event.

Our First Donation to St. Mary’s University
The Hong Kong Chapter has decided to donate CAD$2,000 to The Colin and Carol Dodds Family Bursary Fund just recently established by SMU. This was our first donation to our alma mater with the proceeds coming from the membership fees and other personal contributions.

Dr. Dodds also brought us some souvenirs. There were some special gifts, giving to those whose birthday is closest to the date on which some of his important events occurred.
