Following a successful G20 meeting of finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors in Argentina in mid-March, the Honourable Finance Minister Bill Morneau came to Hong Kong and delivered a speech in the Canada-HK Business Luncheon hosted by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, March 29. His speech was about Canada’s progressive approach to building an economy that works for everyone. He underscored the need to include more women in the economy and to ensure that growth created through international trade and investment benefits those who contribute to its success.
Together with the Vice President of Advancement Erin Greenwood, we had a great opportunity to participate in this event.
The Consul-General does reckon the existence of a sizable group of SMU alumni in Hong Kong.
