A Trail Walk in November 2022

Dalhousie University Alumni Association (Hong Kong) had proposed a leisurely trail walk to take place on Saturday, 26th November 2022. This walk was not only intended for Dal alumni, but also for alumni of other universities in Atlantic Canada.

There were eleven participants altogether who joined the walk, including eight DAL alumni, two SMU alumni and one from Memorial University of Newfoundland. We gathered at the Queensway Bus Stop in Admiralty around 10 am and took the No. 15 Bus Route to go to the starting point. We got off at the junction between Stubbs Road and Wong Nai Chung Gap Road near Hong Kong Adventist Hospital and proceeded to Bowen Road.

About half way through the walk, we stopped by the Lovers’ Stone Garden where there is a 10-metre high rock known in Chinese as 姻緣石 (pronounced Yan Yuen Shek in Cantonese) as shown below.

More detailed information about the Rock can be obtained from here.

Around 1:30 pm, we reached the end of Bowen Road and went downhill back to Admiralty via Hong Kong Park.

As the last part of the event, we had a dim sum lunch together at the Lippo Chiuchow Restaurant.
