A dinner gathering with the staff of Sobey School of Business

Early September… It was time for the beginning of a new academic year – not only in Halifax, but also in Zhuhai, P.R. China. Three representatives of the BComm Program (Sobey School of Business) came all the way from Halifax to Zhuhai via Hong Kong to participate in the inauguration of the new academic year for the finance program jointly developed by SMU and BNUZ. They were Ms Lois Larson, Dr. David Wicks and Mr. Garett J. White.

While they were in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Chapter arranged an exotic dinner on Saturday, 5th September for three of them at a well-known Chinese restaurant near the hotel where they stayed.

Chicken feet

Chicken feet served with finely ground ginger sauce was one of the appetizers that had posed a great challenge to our visitors.

Winter melon soup was served and was greatly admired by our visitors.
